And Now For Something [A Little Bit] Different

And we all hear Ed say "Whew!" ;-).

And Lila say "Wheeeeee!"

Lila got some new buddies last night. She was very excited. She ran and leaped and ran and leaped and ran...

...and tried to get B. Willard to play with her.

"Can't you see I'm EATING!?!"

"Okay, wheeeeeee!" (pant, pant, pant)

Then she ran over to me. (boing, boing, boing)

And ran back. (boing, boing, boing)

And back to me. (boing, boing, boing)

And back. (boing, boing, boing)

And then she and Marcel did a little spinning while B. Willard picked fleece (that had already been processed into roving, thank you very little, Willard ;-).

More later...

Thanks for the laugh! Lila sure is getting big. Won't fit on your lap anymore at all!

I can't understand how some people think animals don't have thoughts or feelings. Clearly they do!

Love the post.

I don't know how you could take photos while Lila was pogo-ing all over the pasture! It always makes me laugh so hard to see them boing-boing-boing!

She's looking pretty happy. Good job, sheep Mom!

All that boinging in hot weather takes a lot of energy. Lila better have a Nilla.

She will. not. eat. them.

I do the same thing when I make new friends too!! :-))

Once again, your post has given me a needed grin today! :-D

Lila is just so adorable...growing up too fast!

There sure is a lot of "boing" in that lamb! Mine are not fans of Nillas, either. But they haven't met a graham cracker they didn't like. Or a raisin. Or a gingersnap.

What's really funny is that since I have my own sheep I know exactly how to fill in between the pictures. I could just see her. Too cute.

I remember when Shermie was boinging across the field. Does he still boing? I can't believe Lila doesn't like Nilla wafers! I'm sure the others will be glad to eat her share.

So are B.Willard and Marcel her buddies? How did that happen?

She was mostly just excited to see everyone. She'd been out with them some as a baby - I'd take her out with them when the rest of the sheep had gone to the barn for the night. Everybody's getting along just fine it seems. Not sure when I'll move her out with the big, grumpy sheep and the small grumpy sheep with horns ;-).

Oh lila...you make me think sweet dreams of retiring one day with boinging sheep all around the pasture...
