Sunday Stills - Looking Through Windows

I've missed so many great Sunday Stills challenges this summer.  This one was extra fun - anything you see looking through a window.  I picked the Wool House because I have lots of great views from there!

The boys.  Baaxter is doing great.  He loves his "brothers" :-).

This purple flower in the Dye Garden blooms and bloom and blooms.

Horses and sheep on the outside, spinning wheel on the inside.

Baaxter and an odd view/angle of the lavender.  Everything looks small and crunched together and it's really not.  I did have to replace quite a few plants after the hard winter, but it really looks pretty nice in real life.

Another view of a couple of the boys.  I think Baaxter is behind the "bars" on the right.

Beautiful! Still waiting for the "dye garden" post. My yarn is just sitting here all white and waiting. :)

So glad Baaxter likes his new found family. Just the Best!
what do you do with the purple flowers in the dye garden or are they for 'show' .

I'd love to have a painting or an enlargement, suitable for framing, of the first pic. Takes my breath away.

Uuuhhhmmmm.....love all the shots and the sheepies but, a gardening tip.... Lavender is a Mediterranean plant-likes it hot, dry and with poor(ish) soil. Piling a heavy layer of mulch right up against the plants may encourage root rot. I know you have had some floods in that garden, washing the plants out, but good drainage is essential with lavender, so un-mulched raised beds might be a better idea. LOVE the Zinnias. So colorful and cheerful.

The lavender is in raised beds/mounds. The mulch is in between and several inches lower than the plants. The straw is to reduce weeds and keep the mounds from washing away. No mulch touching the plants :-).
