The Ts

Painted Rock Farm uses alphabet names. The first year everyone's name started with an 'A', the second year a 'B'... Last year everyone started with 'T'.

Tavia

Tessa

Thelma

Tabitha

Tara

Tabitha, Thelma, Tara

Tabitha and Tessa

Note the green moss/mold/whatever growing on the cross ties.  That's how much rain we've had this winter.  It's everywhere...along with the mud.  I'm trying really hard not to be sore about this after the drought this past summer and fall...

Tiny Tavia

And you'll have to work a puzzle to see the last picture.  Not to worry, it's an easy one :-).  I love the colors.

Enjoy!

Love the new girls have fun with them. I like using all the same letter names each year and also changing ear tag colors every year or two. Make keeping track of their ages easier.

Three horns?

I was checking out their fleece . It's interesting that some of them have uneven horns- gives them character! But then, all Jacobs are characters.

The alphabet is a good idea for names. I was boarding at a barn once where the owner named each horse after a song. So I adapted that into each of our horses having their own song that sort of describes their personalities. Love the pictures! So adorable.

Your new girls are just beautiful. I hope with time I will remember who's who.

How tiny is Tavia ( Mia) size?

Actually five!

Those tiny lamb horns get broken so easily. Tabitha actually has five horns if you look closely. Tavia has four, but one doesn't show much due to breaking off. It happens :-/.

Oops, depending on which sheep. Tavia has four, but looks like three. Tabitha has five.

I'm having trouble with the names too. The sheep I know, but the names I have to stop and think...

We'll have to wait and see. She's not quite a year old yet. She's petite though for sure.

They are cute! All those horns remind me of the kitties with extra toes. Makes them special!

The terrific T's! They are all so cute with nice markings. Some people think sheep all look alike. NOT! Looking forward to years of stories of what they're up to!

They are all so adorable! It's really cute how they have horns all over the place.

Oh - and you asked about Kerry Hill wool. On our two rams it's short and dense. :)
