Cat Shepherdess

One of my favorite Twitter follows is Bodacious, the Cat Shepherd. He shepherds Zwartbles sheep in Ireland.  Betsy's shepherding her sheep in Kentucky :-).

After our grueling camp out night, I figured she'd be done with sheep for awhile.  I guess a good shepherdess isn't scared off that easily.  The next night, while I stood down the hill waiting to make sure Biscuit was going to settle in okay, she stayed up at the barn near his gate.

Biscuit's showing his new friends all the best spots to yard graze.  Muffin wants to go anywhere Biscuit goes, so she slipped out the gate with him yesterday afternoon.  Of course, momma then had to come, too.

Betsy headed down to make sure everyone was doing their job.

The weed eating chain gang :-D.

Does Mama push Biscuit away at all, or is she sweet to him?

She's good to him :-). She even sniffs his butt along with Muffin's while they take bottles now.

Betsy is built for shepherding with the tuft of white at the end of her tail. I'm glad Muffin's Mum (she really needs a name, not just MM) accepts/tolerates her.

I can't imagine that the grass in the middle of the road between the gravel tracks tastes good, Muffin's Mum!

I'm so glad that you have your own Cat Shepherdess. Does she like to eat raw eggs and follow her chickens like Bodacious?
I love all the photos of your new little family.

The grass in the middle must be prime, as they all love it!

I've not tried the egg with Betsy. Bodacious definitely has a better deal going over there ;-).

Betsy is awesome! It's amazing how she has been cat shepherdness to almost all of your bottle lambs... Maybe she should have her own twitter account =^•^=

Betsy is worth her weight in gold, we don't give enough credit how caring cats may be. We had a rescue at the farm, only weighed 6 pounds. Mz Kitty was protector of all, she took on deer, raccoon, and even wild turkeys.

When I call her Mama, I think of Vicki Lawrence's character. I think it fits!
